Asketh I from the tranquil waters
“Who art thou?” Says the wave
“A gown of the land, a bride in blue
Covereth the surface, mine shimmering
waves
I catch the pearls of heaven
I drinketh the silken rays of the sun
I breathe in the shimmering stars
Hides I, the blemishes of the silver
beauty
I caress the creatures of the deep
Formest I, the fluffy clouds
And I giveth life unto the barren
lands
And it is I that sparkle in thine
eyes”
I closet mine eyes at the mere words
And I hear distinctly-
“I live on till eternity
I am the Sea, the Earth’s beauty.”
